Game Introduction
Hills of Steel is a 2D tank driver that treats every slope like a launch ramp. You roll a steel hull over dirt and rock, keep the tracks planted, then fire when the turret lines up. One sloppy jump dumps you on your roof; one clean shot knocks a rival tank into the pit.
The loop is short and greedy. Wreck enemies, pick up the drop, spend gold on armor and guns, then unlock heavier tanks. Later maps leave the mud behind and put you on the Moon with futuristic chassis. Boss tanks sit at the end of a stage with more HP and a bigger silhouette, and they pay better coin if you finish them.
Play Hills of Steel free online when you want driving physics mixed with shooting, not a straight traffic racer. Diamonds buy crates and extra tanks if you want to skip the grind. A daily crate comes back every 24 hours, which is enough reason to hop in for one more hill.
How to Play
Steer on the A/D or arrow keys. Space fires the main gun. X dumps a booster when you need a shove up a steep face or a burst to chase a fleeing tank.
On mobile, use the on-screen throttle, steer, fire, and boost buttons. The same buttons stay on PC if you prefer tapping them.
Win fights to bank gold, then upgrade the tank you already trust before buying a new one. Bosses need more shots; back off a slope so your barrel stays level instead of firing into the dirt.
PC and Mobile Interaction
Use A and D or the arrow keys to drive. Press Space to fire and X to use the booster. On-screen buttons remain available if you want to click them.
Use the on-screen steer, fire, and booster buttons. Keep one thumb on movement and the other on the gun.
Tips & Tricks
Fire after the hull settles. Shots from mid-air often miss the weak spot.
Spend gold on armor first if you keep dying to boss tanks.
Use the booster on the backside of a hill, not at the crest, or you flip.
